Honestly it's wwwaaayyyy too short to be a demo. It was closer to a clicked through slideshow. Visual novels, because of their format and that they are essentially books you click through sometimes, need to be longer than actual games where you're actually doing something. A countable number of minutes of gameplay is too short for a demo
Bro I've played demos shorter than this, even actual games, and it's a free game, so I don't see any point in complaining. If anything, it does everything a demo should do, introduce you to the characters and make you look forward to the finished product.
I -was- wondering about why they kept the merman to begin with, but I'm happy to see there's a reason that makes sense. (I also kinda hope you can set him free and/or run away with him at the end. lol Guess we'll have to wait and see.)

Actually, this game makes me feel like I've somehow stepped into the charming world of Petshop of Horrors. (If anyone remember that manga series.)
I really hope there is a way to romance him. I am sure that someone as cunning as he seem to be can understand the benefit of seducing someone to help him escape. (Especially after what happened.)
Whether that ends well or tragic in five different way, well... Either way, I'd love to be able help him escape. ^_^
(Although it doesn't seem to be a magical world, so I guess if you fall in love you'll end up as that weirdo who lives alone in a cabin by the coast far from people just so you can spend more time with him. lol And that's the best-case scenario. If he doesn't just eat you. lol But people have befriended wild animals before, and he seems more sentient than any animal.)
Either way, I love this game! ^_^ ...in part because I love the ocean and everything in it. And meremen. lol

I tried joiplay version 1.20.027, and it worked. But, you can also try an emulator called Winlator. Just make sure to have over 2 gigabytes of space on your phone, and use the graphics driver VirGl or LLVMpipe.
enjoyed this so much <3 pretty merman aside, i love the dynamic between him and the mc so far, and i love the fact that mc actually had to be careful around him because it's clear he's dangerous. can't wait to see where the story goes! ><

This demo is REALLY good. In my (only) run we both survived, yes, but the way he makes it clear that he doesn't see you as his caretaker, but as his prey, leaves a lot of room to see how their relationship (his and MC) develops and also a cliffhanger that makes you want more. I like that it's not your typical visual novel where it's love at first sight, and I'll be keeping an eye out for any updates. I don't know if the final product will be free or not, but I'll still consider contributing something just because I really liked this game! :)

I felt like it would be better both the player and the love interest to grow more interested in each other gradually, with all the differences (both physical and cultural) that come between them.

When I was playing I spent a lot of time spotting the save buttons in the top left hand corner, I'm not sure if this is my problem or not, I'd like them to be put in a more prominent place if possible.
I was completely mesmerized by him, and I was especially impressed by his beautiful eyes. Those eyes were as tantalizing as the lights of a deep-sea fish attracting its prey.😭 can I try to translate this game into Chinese and share the Chineseization patch for this demo? People can add the patch into the original game to get the Chinese translation. My English is not very good, but I really want to share this game, he's so cute.... thanks for making such a great game
As of now, it's not in my plans, since I have no idea how it's done. Right now, I'd rather just focus on finishing the game for PC/Mac. I'll consider it, but I can't promise anything, unfortunately.
Hi, when trying running the game it says Checksum error in, The file is corrupt, The archive is corrupt and Cannot execute, is there a way to fix this?
I was searching a bit into it to make sure it doesn't come from my end while uploading. I haven't received any other complaint about it as of now.
From what I've seen online, it may come from an error when downloading the game or depending on the software you use to unzip the files. Apparently, this error can occur while using WinRar.
The only thing I can suggest right now is try downloading again or use 7zip if you're not already using it instead of WinRar.
I have just re uploaded new files just to make sure, I had my friend tested it and it works. I'd say try again, but if it doesn't work, I'm afraid I won't have a solution. ;_;
